Oliver Lowe
Architectural Assistant
Oliver joined the Derby office of Guy Taylor Associates in 2021 as part of his Part 1 architectural placement. Since then, he has made significant contributions to a variety of projects, including luxury housing developments, heritage restoration works, and agricultural diversification initiatives.
Oliver earned his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Lincoln, graduating with first-class honours and receiving a nomination for the prestigious RIBA Bronze Medal. He went on to complete his Master’s in Architecture at the University of Sheffield through its innovative Collaborative Practice scheme, where he graduated with distinction, commendations, and the JK Page Prize in Environmental Science. Currently, he is pursuing his Part 3 qualification at the University of Nottingham to become a fully chartered architect.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Oliver shares his expertise as a part-time lecturer at the University of Derby, teaching architectural design and software skills.
Beyond architecture, Oliver is an enthusiastic squash player and an active committee member of his local club. He also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, often combining this with a visit to a local pub.
