We’re excited to share our plans to transform the old retail park into a vibrant mixed-use destination that makes the most of its stunning natural surroundings. Set across 75 acres — the same site that hosted the UK Garden Festival back in 1992 — this new development is all about creating a place for people to enjoy, explore, and connect.

The vision includes a wide range of activities for all ages, from walking and cycling trails to zip lines, climbing areas, BMX tracks, and slides. There’ll also be peaceful spots like botanical gardens, an owl sanctuary, a countryside classroom, and a community orchard — offering something for everyone.

Alongside the outdoor experiences, the development will feature great food, retail, a cinema, and a hotel, making it a lively and welcoming place to visit, shop, relax, and stay.

We first shared our plans with the public in 2019 and have been working hard to shape a destination that truly reflects the spirit of the site and the needs of the community.
